Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to build a website?

We aim to have all work to be completed within two weeks, but to a certain extent this will depend on the client and their needs. Most simple projects can be done inside a week if all images, text and content are provided promptly and design approvals are confirmed.

Is it necessary to meet up and discuss the work involved?

No, not usually. The majority of our projects are completed with contact over the phone and by email.

How will I know if the website produced will be to my satisfaction?

The design process used is structured so that we can assess your needs acurately and we can show you how the project is progressing along the way. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the work, we will change and tweek it until you are!

I have never had a website before - what do I need to get started?

You need someone to design and build the website, a unique address (domain name) and somewhere to store the site (hosting).

What is a domain name?

A domain name is the unique address which identifies each website and is usually in the form www.yourwebsite.com.

What is hosting?

Website hosting is where the pages and other files of a website are stored. In order for the website to be viewed at any time, the web pages and files need to be stored on a server which is constantly running.

Do you provide hosting?

No, we stick to what we do best - designing websites. There are a variety of companies who offer hosting, and we will be happy to guide you through the process of choosing one if needed.
